About ABA

What is ABA?

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a scientific discipline that focuses on understanding and improving human behavior. With its roots in scientific research and its focus on individualized care, ABA offers a path to meaningful improvement in the lives of those who receive it. Whether helping a child with autism develop communication skills or supporting someone in managing their behavior more effectively, ABA is about making positive, lasting changes.

Who Can Benefit from ABA?

  • ABA is widely recognized for its effectiveness in helping individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD/ADD, ODD, and Global Developmental Delay
  • It is also used in a variety of other contexts, including education, mental health, and even workplace settings
  • ABA techniques can be beneficial for children and adults
  • Helps acquire new skills, improve communication, and reduce challenging behaviors.

ABA Professionals

  • ABA therapy is typically administered by trained professionals known as Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
